(VIDEO) Leicestershire Chambers of Commerce - Transferable skills in sports

Like the previous video posted before, this video helps raise transferable skills. In this project I lead a team of three first year students. We organised an interview with a student who is part of the rowing society. This video concentrates on transferable skills in sports.

(VIDEO) Leicester Sky Ride Documentary

For my TV production module, this video was produced as a team of three. We had to make a video on the community. So we chose to do Sky Ride Leicester. 

We managed to get some interviews with participants who cycle for Sky Ride and also organisers from Leicester Council.

The intro and conclusion were produced together, and my section begins at 3:00.

(VIDEO) Leicestershire Chambers of Commerce work - Transferable Skills

This video was filmed at one of the charity shops in Leicester. The interview and questions were organised by me. Its aims are to help those unemployed by showing transferable skills. This video focuses on volunteering.

(VIDEO) Melton Times art exhibition interview

Here is another video I produced for the Melton Times. Its on a local art exhibition featuring local artists art. The aims of the exhibiton was to raise money for the church to help rebuild the lead roof, that was ruined by vandals.

(VIDEO) Chinese Culture Exhibition 2013 promo video

I produced this video as part of my volunteer work for Demontfort University Square Mile project.

They aim to make an impact on the community in Leicester. This video helped promote the exhibition which also raised money for the recent earthquake that took place.


This was an exciting video to film, as I got to visit a Chinese restaurant to see how the food was made. I also got the opportunity to see Chinese calligraphy and traditional Chinese dancing. All of which was shown in the video

(VIDEO) Cocktail Society motion graphic

My friend, the chair of the Cocktail Society, asked me to produce a simple and quick motion graphic displaying the society's logo. So this is what I produced for them using After Effects.


He was very pleased with the final result.

(VIDEO) Melton Times Newscast starting titles

(VIDEO) Motion Graphics - Film Titles

In this example, I used Illustrator to create the images seen and animated them using After Effects. The film titles take inspiration from a motion graphic pioneer, Saul Bass. The film is fictional and does not exist. Its about a superhero.




This was part of an assignment for my post production module.

(VIDEO) Promotional Video for Demon Theatre

As a committed member of my university's theatre group, and a media student, I put my spare time in filming and producing this promotional video for the show that we performed, Alan Aykebourne - A Chorus of Disapproval



The show was successful! and as well as promoting the show, the video also promoted the society. The audience enjoyed the video at the end of the show, showing what the members got up to.

This weeks newscast, presented by myself and Kevin Ross, ex radio presenter for The Eye, Melton Mowbray's local radio station.

What is the Melton Times Newscast?

The Melton Times Newscast is a short audio slideshow broadcast of my home towns local news.

Its aim is to be an easy listening digest of the weeks news displaying photographs taken by the papers photographer, for viewers to enjoy as an alternate to reading the Melton Times paper.

Myself and ex local radio presenter, Kevin Ross of The Eye, Melton Mowbray's local radio station, read and record all the papers news. This is done every Thursday evening and put online the next morning by the editor of the paper.

The newscast receives thousands of views, from locally to word wide where local families have migrated to.

Since I have become part of the team, the starting titles has been developed by me, to display more motion graphic and up to date images.

Responsibilities: Editing news articles to be read and recorded as a video podcast, delivering a newscast every Thursday night. Also went out to film local events such as sports awards and art events.
Skills gained: Proof reading, independence, online video delivery, presenting, and studio audio recording.
